Deiniolen Trust Fund

Five small dates in the village calendar.

All trustee surgeries are held in the side room of Deiniolen Memorial Hall. No appointment is needed; tea and bara brith are provided. The carol service is held at Capel Bethel each December.

A short bilingual community walk from the village down to the lake, with the new fingerpost we funded in 2025. Walking pace; about three miles. Children welcome.

The second outing of Ifor’s walk at the foot of the old Dinorwig incline, in Welsh, with tea afterwards. Suitable for any age; sensible footwear is recommended.

How our events run.

None of the trust’s events is ticketed; none requires a registration to attend; all are run by volunteers from the village. The notes below describe what, in practice, happens on each kind of day.

About forty villagers; one urn; one round of bara brith from the Sunday school; one small queue at the trustee table.

Three miles, walking pace, children welcome. We meet at the Memorial Hall and come back the same way.
